GetFrank is a smart, witty no BS men's site - think Economist meets GQ and bumps into FHM along the way. Who is Frank? Frank is an alter ego, which will guide you, when you choose to stop being pushed into existence and decide to step up and live.

GetFrank provides the best insights, videos, tips, interviews and discussions in one place for the men of New Zealand. Content is drawn from a multitude of sources around the world. Like a good drop, it's fresh, germane and carries an edge.

History

Internet entrepreneur - Rich Henry received a AUD$4,000 big break to start an online men's magazine and provide pathways for professional men to take steps forward on all fronts.

The team

Rich Henry is the founder of GetFrank. He has a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance, Accounting & Economics from Otago University, represented New Zealand in Double Mini Trampoline, and spent a year at PriceWaterhouseCoopers before breaking free to work on the venture fulltime.

IdeaHQ Involvement

IdeaHQ first invested in Getfrank in March 2007 taking an initial 25% when the site was getting no more than 3,000 users a month. We have continued to support the business through further capital raisings to continue to grow the business to the stage where it now has over 90,000 users each month and has the highest concentration of males earning over $60k per year of any site in the country.

As part of the 2nd capital raising IdeaHQ injected funds to allow Getfrank to takeover its nearest rival BigFella in 2008 cementing its position in NZ
