Vaughan Magnusson

Vaughan was formerly a Director of Waterman Capital a boutique corporate finance advisory practice.

He has been involved in investment banking and corporate advisory services to the SME sector for the past 4 years and has advised on a number of acquisitions, divestments, debt and equity raising roles across a diverse range of industries. He has also been involved in limited scope valuation advice and commercial and financial due diligence.

Prior to Waterman Capital Vaughan was the CFO of Phitek Systems an early stage consumer electronics and audio technology company.

Vaughan returned to New Zealand in late 2003 having spent 5 ½ years in London and the Cayman Islands working in investment banking, financial control and business development for Bankers Trust, Threadneedle Asset Management and HSBC. Vaughan is a Chartered Accountant (NZICA) and holds a Bachelor of Commerce of the University of Otago.
